Picture Monday

Last week, late in the afternoon after a morning of more snow (ick), I peeked out the office window and found a great big angel on our driveway.

It was just the work of kids who'd made tracks in the fresh snow on their way home from school, but from where I was standing looking down on the footprints, it looked like a giant snow angel.

See? Look at her!

I shoveled her away later that night, but she was sweet while she lasted.



There are no words adequately beautiful enough describe this sunrise on January 18th, captured from our bedroom window...



Lucy likes our new office chairs. It's important that the cat approves.

Hmm, so apparently it's NOT a pot of gold. It's that guy's house. Good to know.





The sky is looking at me with its one big weird eye. But it's okay. I looked back with my two suspicious ones. We're totally even now.





"Lady X" After a rainstorm. She looks MUCH nicer than I do after I'm caught in a downpour. Lucky bitch.

No whining or ranting (I promise) - just a few pictures

The vegetable garden, newly planted (you can just see the two rows of very, very tiny beet seedlings if you look reaaaaally closely...). I added a sage plant tonight and will fill up the remaining spaces with herbs, I think...



The Angel Garden, complete with its brand new arbor! I planted two "Little Duckling" Clematis vines on either side of it this evening, but from what I understand they can take a few years to really take hold. Good thing the arbor is purdy all on its own (if I do say so myself!).
